Holex and Airflo Launch Joint Venture: Holex Air Logistics Takes Flight

A new chapter begins for Holex Flower with the launch of Holex Air Logistics, a dedicated air freight division created in partnership with logistics specialist Airflo this month. This strategic joint venture is set to strengthen the efficiency and agility of Holex’s global transportation chain.

The new venture brings together experienced teams from both companies, combining Holex’s deep industry knowledge with Airflo’s long-standing expertise in air freight logistics. Operating as a service provider for the wider Holex group, Holex Air Logistics aims to deliver faster, more streamlined transport solutions for cut flowers and floral products. There are already plans to extend the service to Holex’s international subsidiaries in the US, China, and South America.

Making Logistics Leaner and Smarter

“This joint project is a response to the ongoing shifts in our supply chain,” explains Paul Hoogenboom, Managing Director of Holex Flower. “We’re seeing intermediaries disappear, which impacts exporters like us. To stay profitable, we need to create more direct, efficient logistics solutions—this venture is a key part of that strategy.”

Pim de Wit, Managing Director of Airflo Netherlands, sees strong potential from the outset: “Holex Flower alone already generates enough volume to make Holex Air Logistics viable. In the long term, we foresee additional growth from subsidiaries in Miami, Ecuador, and Kunming. This is also an important milestone in our continued collaboration with Holex.”
