DE KWAKEL, Netherlands: Netherlands-based cut flower (gerbera, carnation, alstroemeria, and limonium) and potted plant (Inticancha alstroemerias, Glamour Helleborus, Garvinea gerberas, Mooodz echinacea) breeder HilverdaFlorist will be hosting Open Days at their headquarters in De Kwakel. The event, to coincide with the IFTF show in Vijfhuizen and Trade Fair Aalsmeer at Royal FloraHolland Aalsmeer, will be held from 1 to 5 November 2021. The Open House will showcase shining and colourful examples of innovative plant breeding. Industry professionals who are unable to travel due to Covid-19 quarantaine measures and safety regulation are treated to a bespoke virtual tour.
Plant breeders, growers, wholesalers, plant retailers, garden retailers, florists and horticultural press who want to attend the Connect & Create event in person are welcome to evaluate the company’s new series and varieties for coming season at the Dwarsweg 15, in De Kwakel.
A highlight of the event is the gerbera greenhouse which will be in full bloom.
