GreenTech Amsterdam date moves from spring to the autumn

Amsterdam, the Netherlands: GreenTech Amsterdam will now take place on Tuesday 20 – Thursday 22 October 2020. Organisers, RAI Amsterdam, set this new date for later in the year, due to the threat of the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19.

Mariska Dreschler, Director Horticulture of GreenTech, says: “Horticulture is of critical importance for global food safety and security. Efficient and sustainable cultivation is, therefore, a necessity. By moving the show to 20 – 22 October 2020, we offer our exhibitors the best possible time slot to put a spotlight on their solutions and to inaugurate business with their peers. Especially in these challenging times, we need to optimise their expert views and advice on the world’s horticulture industries, so we can keep feeding the world.”

GreenTech Amsterdam is the annual global meeting for all horticultural technology professionals; in 2019, visitors originated from 114 countries. Fifty per cent of the exhibitors are from countries other than the Netherlands; for example, the three exhibiting countries are China, France and the USA.
