GreenTech Americas Conference to focus on crop optimisation

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands: During GreenTech Americas experts, innovators and visionaries will take stage with the aim to help regional growers, breeders and suppliers to optimize their cultivation. The conference will give a glimpse into developments and trends, and guidance on how to respond. The show and conference will be held from March 24 to 26, 2020, at the Congress Center, Mexico.

The conference programme focuses on automation and robotisation. Questions which will be answered are: “What kind of effect do these developments have on the horticultural industry?”, “How can Latin American growers benefit from this?” and “What does big data mean for the horticulture sector?”.

The importance of sustainable production and natural crop protection is also addressed. Various solutions to save energy, but also the use of water, nutrients and fertilization will be discussed. Solutions to help the grower optimize their crops but also guidance to get more revenue per square meter with fewer resources. “What are the optimal new and existing techniques for better production?”.

The program has been carefully compiled by experts from the horticulture industry in the Mexican market. GreenTech Americas is a spin-off of GreenTech Amsterdam with the goal to meet the needs of regional growers, breeders and suppliers. The show is organized by RAI Amsterdam and Tarsus México.

GreenTech Amsterdam will be held Monday 8 – Wednesday 10 June 2020. The exhibition is a global meeting place for all horticultural technology professionals. GreenTech focuses on the early stages of the horticultural chain and the current issues growers face. All Dutch front runners, greenhouse builders and suppliers are present. Last year a total of 12,489 professionals from 114 countries visited GreenTech Amsterdam.
