International reach, knowledge, experience, and, above all, reliability and consistency are the trademarks of the GREEN IS LIFE trade fair, the 31st edition of which will take place between September 5th and 7th, 2024, at EXPO XXI in Warsaw, Poland.
GREEN IS LIFE is the hub of the whole green industry. The fair is distinguished from other events by the wide range of products, but above all, thousands of ornamental plants – trees, shrubs, perennials and climbing plants, which exhibitors present at their displays (62 per cent of exhibitions). The unwavering interest of exhibitors and visitors alike in participating in this event proves that direct relationships and meetings are an important element on the path to business development, where cooperation is the key to a thriving green market.

According to figures in the AIPH International Statistics Flowers and Plants Yearbook, Poland was the sixth largest market for the export of ornamental plants from the Netherlands. Imports of ornamental plants to Poland increased by 16.23 per cent and garden plants by 29.08 per cent. Poland exports 29.56 per cent of its plants to eastern markets. Ornamental plant and flower producers have a keen interest in agtech in particular because there’s a lack of skilled labour. Though ornamental horticulture plays a minor role, as seen from the country’s broader agricultural perspective, Poland’s nursery stock sector is the horticultural jewel in the crown. Poland’s total area of ornamental nursery stock production spans around 7,000ha. This makes the country the sixth largest nursery stock producer after Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and France.
GREEN IS LIFE is the first place where buyers think about next year’s season. This is high-worth potential.
GREEN IS LIFE is primarily associated with meeting the entire industry in one place and presenting thousands of ornamental plants. It is also a place to introduce new varieties.
GREEN IS LIFE’s educational programme includes the International Green City Conference, the Knowledge for Trade and Producers Seminar, the Garden Creators Meeting, and workshops.
GREEN IS LIFE equally updates landscapers and contractors on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices shaping landscape design.

This year, the event will attract more international visitors, thanks to the collaboration and endorsement from the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH).
AIPH is the global organisation that authorises International Horticultural Expos around the world. Additionally, the association will be holding the AIPH 76th Annual Congress in Warsaw.
An International Green City Conference, part of the AIPH Congress and the Exhibition, will take place at the EXPO XXI Center at the GREEN IS LIFE trade fair on Friday, 6 September.
During the collaborative Green City Conference, international experts will deliver presentations on urban greenery, climate science, and practical considerations for policymakers. Representatives from Poland’s major cities, as well as guests from Asia, Canada, and the United States, have expressed their intent to participate in the Congress and GREEN IS LIFE.
Moreover, exhibitors from seven countries, including Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands and Poland, will also be here.
