More than 320,000 visitors attended IHK 2025 at Ilsan Lake Park, reflecting the exhibition’s strong public engagement and international profile.
Goyang’s flagship horticultural exhibition has secured its third consecutive approval from AIPH, confirming International Horticulture Goyang Korea 2026 as a recognised platform in the global ornamental calendar.
Running from 24 April to 10 May 2026 at Ilsan Lake Park in Goyang, the exhibition, locally known as the 2026 Goyang International Flower Expo, serves as a key meeting point for Asian producers and international partners.
While Goyang’s flower festival heritage stretches back over 30 years, recent AIPH approvals have sharpened its international trade profile. The 2026 exhibition will again integrate consumer engagement with structured B2B activity and increased international exhibitor space.
Organised by the Goyang International Flower Foundation (GIFF), the 2026 edition will combine large-scale outdoor installations across 280,000 square metres with expanded indoor exhibition space, including the permanent Flower Exhibition Centre and two additional halls. This environment is expected to support broader international participation and deeper business engagement.
The exhibition will showcase nursery stock, cut flowers, and potted foliage and flowering plants, reflecting the production strength and consumer trends in the Korean market.
For international professionals, it offers access to a strong domestic market and opens doors to export positioning and structured networking.
In 2025, the event attracted over 330,000 visitors. This year, organisers expect more than 400,000 visitors, reinforcing the event’s scale and market visibility. Backed by strong municipal support and a stable public foundation, the exhibition signals continued public investment in horticultural promotion and urban green culture.
Tim Briercliffe, Secretary General of AIPH, noted: “International Horticulture Goyang Korea continues to evolve from a celebrated flower festival into a structured platform for international horticultural exchange. Its consistent AIPH approval reflects strong governance, growing trade ambition, and a clear commitment to connecting professional production with public engagement.”
Offering inspiration and tangible opportunity for growers and breeders seeking visibility in the Korean market, and for Korean producers looking outward, IHK 2026 is one to note in the international horticultural calendar.
