German garden centres to close amid second wave of Covid-19

THE HAGUE, Netherlands, BONN, Germany: German chancellor Angela Merkel has ordered all non-essential business close, including garden centres to close as of Wednesday 16 December over  concerns for health and safety amidst the country’s second wave of COVID-19. Germany’s western neighbours, the Netherlands is expected to follow suit. Big-box stores have started to cancel orders.
