GCA to attend 52nd Four Oaks Trade Show this September

GCA CEO, Peter Burks.

The UK’s Garden Centre Association (GCA) has signed up to attend the Four Oaks Trade Show next month and will be available to meet current and potential new members at the event.

The show takes place on Tuesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 4, in Cheshire.

GCA CEO Peter Burks said: “We’re delighted to be attending this year’s Four Oaks Trade Show once again and will have a stand in the Education Zone. Our GCA Garden Retail Online Workshops (GROW) e-learning platform instructional designer Antony Snow and executive assistant Laura Smith from our team will be there. They would love to see members old and new.

“Not only does the show offer the perfect opportunity for garden centre staff to get up to date with all the horticultural news and see the latest products available, but it’s also a chance to catch up with each other and for our members to meet up too.

“Laura and Antony are looking forward to chatting to anyone who would like to find out more about our Association and joining us as well.”

The Four Oaks Trade Show is an international exhibition covering the whole of commercial ornamental horticulture. The event takes place on a 23-acre nursery site in Cheshire, close to the Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope, covering an area of 13,000m² under glass with additional outdoor areas.

Displays of plant material form the heart of the show, with plant producers using the platform to launch the next season’s lines. Mature stock and specimen plants from across Europe create showcase displays. Machinery, growing media, sundries, retail products, Christmas ware, and services can also be found at Four Oaks.

The GCA represents more than 200 garden centres nationwide.

Through sharing information and its inspection programme, the GCA helps members achieve high standards in customer service, plant quality, and reliability.
