Sander Beekwilder joins Floriworld as new director

WESTLAND, Netherlands: Flower Council of Holland, the marketing and promotion arm of the Dutch ornamental horticulture industry has announced the appointment  of Sander Beekwilder as Floriworld’s new director effective from 1 August 2019.

Beekwilder succeeds  Daniëlle Santen who recently stepped down from her position gracefully as she found it increasingly difficult to combine Floriworld with her second job in the care industry.

Floriworld is the €29 million flower experience which is currently under construction in Aalsmeer. Set to open next year, the visitors centre will offer tourists from around the world a fascinating insight into the world of ornamentals production and trade.
