KAMPALA, UGANDA: Chrysanthemum breeder Floritec has appointed Sjoerd de Boer as managing director of its Xclusive cutting farm in Uganda.
In his new position, Sjoerd will succeed Peter Benders who unexpectedly passed away in April.
Sjoerd brings a wealth of experience in horticulture. Over the past two years he has helped expanding Xclusive’s customer base by improving the company’s customer service, product quality and logistic processes.
Sjoerd has previously worked for Royal van Zanten in Uganda, Florensis in Kenya and Schoneveld in Tanzania.
Sjoerd’s focus is on customer satisfaction, quality development and his management style inspires trust. He will work closely with Xclusive’s Hans van Eijzeren, business development director and Roelof Gunnink, financial director.
