GHENT, Belgium: With much regret, the organising committee of Florall has agreed that the 2020 autumn edition of Florall must be cancelled.

Show organiser AVBS, the Belgian board for ornamentals growers, florists, and landscapers, says it has taken this decision after much deliberation. In doing so AVBS has considered the  recent coronavirus flare-ups in Belgium and the latest government guidance including stricter travel restrictions and social distancing requirements. AVBS stresses that its highest concerns have been the health and safety of exhibitors, visitors and all those involved in the staging and running of the trade show.

Meanwhile the organisers have announced the date for Florall’s spring edition: 2 March 2021 at the Waregem exhibition centre.

The Florall trade fair first began in 2007 and is held twice a year, in spring and autumn. In 2014, event organiser AVBS decided to switch from a two-day event to a one-day format, starting with their August 2014 trade show.
