Belgium’s Florall 2026 trade fair will introduce a new award category at its Spring 2026 edition on 3 March at Waregem Expo in Flanders.
First launched in 2007 and organised by AVBS, the Belgian board for ornamental growers, florists and landscapers, Florall is held twice annually and promotes Flanders’ ornamental horticulture industry while stimulating spring sales. The event attracts breeders, growers, wholesalers, technical suppliers, service providers and garden retailers from Belgium and abroad, reinforcing its role as a focused regional buying and networking platform.
The new FLORALL AWARD STAND will be assessed by an independent jury visiting exhibitors throughout the day. Stands will be evaluated on identity and recognisability, accessibility and interaction, communication and focus, and overall visual impact. The award complements the established FLORALL AWARDS, which recognise the best new plant varieties and innovative sales or presentation concepts.

In addition to the exhibition, Florall will host a certified phytolicense refresher course tailored to ornamental growers and landscapers. The programme contributes toward maintaining a P1 or P2 phytolicense for professional plant protection use and includes sessions on beneficial insects, flower-rich field margins and pest control in ornamental horticulture.
The one-day format allows professional visitors to efficiently review the Flemish spring assortment, alongside specialist suppliers in substrates, fertilisers, automation and climate control.
By combining product innovation, commercial exchange and certified professional training, Florall reflects the increasingly integrated demands placed on ornamental producers, where presentation, compliance and technical competence are closely aligned.
