Royal FloraHolland presents its Dutch Tulip Awards

AALSMEER, Netherlands: Event centre Studio’s Aalsmeer was the setting for the coveted 2019 Dutch Tulip Awards, the country’s green industry version of the Oscars that honours the best growers, smartest merchandising concepts, best market introductions and the most spectacular breeding breakthroughs.

Over the past few months, a specialist jury, comprised of FloraHolland customers and business partners, has been voting for winners in four categories: cut flowers, houseplants, outdoor plants and concept. Votes were placed according to practical value, transportability, vase life and marketability. Four products from each category were put through to the final.
