OLDENBURG, Germany:  Floragard, a long-established and reputable manufacturer of exclusive growing media products and specialist mix substrates, is delighted to announce that Aidan Campion has been appointed as Head of Raw Materials Sales (Peat).

Aidan Campion has over 20 years of experience in the horticulture industry, in particular, as Global Business Development Manager for Bord na Mona Horticulture Ltd. in the past 14 years. In this position he was responsible for the strategic development and sale of peat moss to over 30 countries worldwide.

In addition, he has a strong track record in both private and government horticulture agencies, having been responsible for business development and procurement as programme director and senior sales director. Aidan Campion holds a B.Sc. Agriculture Degree and an MBA from Macquarie University Graduate School of Management, Sydney, Australia.

With the development of the global markets for growing media set to see an enormous increase Aidan’s role will significantly expand the market position of the Floragard Group and develop its raw materials business.
