Fiera di Parma announces multi-sensory Flormart exhibition for September

Trade show organiser Fiera di Parma today announced that the 2023 Flormart show will happen at PadovaHall in Padua between 20-22 September 2023. From the moment attendees will enter the 2023 event space, they will be surrounded by the four classical elements of fire, water, earth and air, plus the fifth element or quintessence.

The 72nd edition of Italy’s second-largest horticultural trade show will happen in its home town Padua on the recently renovated grounds of PadovaHall but organised in partnership with Fiera di Parma. This event organiser prides itself on having successful international trade show brands such as Cibus, Mercanteinfiera and Il Salone del Camper in its portfolio.

Under the guidance of ITA, the Italian Trade Agency, Flormart will welcome again a global delegation of pre-screened buyers.

Flormart’s September 2023 edition will serve as a platform to exchange ideas and research findings. The focus will be on Italian grown flowers and plants offering growers an opportunity to showcase their latest breeding breakthroughs and excitingly new varieties.

The show’s tagline this year is ‘The Green Italy’. Now that the green city movement worldwide is gaining increasing traction, the Flormart forum discussions will also highlight how green infrastructure can contribute to the liveability of a city through its economic, social and environmental benefits. Flormart’s message will be a clear one: Italian grown flowers and plants play a crucial role in helping realise successful urban green spaces.

In keeping with the theme of the natural elements, exhibits will be reminiscent of one of Aristoteles’ five classical elements. Freshly cut flowers and living plants and green keeping will  complement earth, techology and machinery water, while landscaping/ innovation and reseach fit the air and fire elements respectively.  Exhibitors in the field of education, start ups, media and service will take inspiration from the quintessence element.
