WESTLAND, Netherlands: The Dutch tulip industry has announced that there will be no Dutch Tulip Trade Event next year. The open days will be back in 2024 when hopefully the world has regained itself and normalised. The Dutch Tulip Trade Event dates are 13-15 March 2024.

Bringing a rainbow of colours and a plethora of shapes and sizes was the fifth edition of the Dutch Tulip Trade Event, which took place between 23-25 March 2022.

The three-day event, which launched in 2015 under the name Dutch Tulip Days, offered industry professionals from home and abroad served as a platform to connect with the Dutch tulip community, discover the latest breeding breakthroughs, and experience the latest trends and exchange new business ideas.

The organisers look back on a successful event but freely admit that industry professionals from Northern and Eastern Europe stayed away due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Also, the event’s 13 hosts opted for a modest set-up of their showcase.

After much deliberation, based on feedback from visitors and participants, the organisers have decided they will sadly not be running the event next year, which is why the next edition of Tulip Trade Event is now set between 13-15 March 2024.

Currently, 13 tulip specialists are on board for the 2024 Tulip Trade Event: P. Aker, Amsonia, Boots Flowerbulbs, Borst Bloembollen, BOT Flowerbulbs, Haakman Flowerbulbs, Jansen’s Overseas, Holland Bulb Market, P. Nelis, Nord Lommerse, C. Steenvoorden, VWS Flowerbulbs and Jan de Wit en Zonen.
