The contest was back at the recently held Dutch Lily Days after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19.

This year’s winner ‘Touchstone’ is a bred of Mak Breeding. This OT hybrid features giant purple-plum flowers. OT Hybrid and 2018 Lily League winner ‘Zambesi’ and Diantha, a double-flowered Oriental, respectively finished second and third.

The 10th edition of the Dutch Lily Days ran between 7-10 June 2022 at 13 lily companies across the northwest of Holland. The event brought together a cross-section of the Dutch lily industry.

The Dutch Lily Days’ mixed audience consisting of growers, traders, florists and other lily aficionados guarantees that entries are marked from different perspectives with overall impression naturally being one of the most decisive factors.
