MISHMAR HASHIVA, Israel:  Visitors to Danziger’s 2018 Flower Trials Display will find more retail solutions with a more international approach. The company will highlight its successful AMORE™ Petunia series, which is about to get further enhancement this upcoming season, uncovering significant retail potential. Danziger will also showcase two main products lines, the TIMELESS™ Bidens collection and a brand new, large flowered, compact habit Calibrachoa series, named LIA™.

The TIMELESS ™ Bidens collection offers a wide range of high-quality Bidens, from the best of the traditional and classic varieties such as the Blazing Glory™, to strong colors, such as Pretty in Pink™. The collection is split into “types” of Bidens according to different uses and characteristics. The collection also features one outstanding variety; GOLDEN EMPIRE™. This unique variety has a tall plant structure and a different flower shape, uncommon in Bidens. “We nicknamed it – “Is this Bidens?!”- because this is the most frequent reaction we receive from customers when they see it. Golden Empire’s appearance is so unique and attractive that people sometimes think it is a different crop,” says Ori Danziger, Deputy CEO Danziger.

LIA™ is a new Calibrachoa series, composed of five colorful, compact varieties. With a larger plant habit than the COLIBRI™ series, LIA™ features extra-large flowers, tighter internodes and more flowers per plant. “We know that the market looks for various uses and sizes, and this series was created to fit perfectly into 12 cm. pots, as well as hanging baskets and small containers,” says Ori Danziger.  “LIA flowers early, creating a beautiful bench display, and continues to grow perfectly in the consumer’s garden or containers.

In Danzigers’ display, located at Royal Van-Zanten site in Holland, visitors will find a large and rich assortment of annuals for various growing conditions and market demands. The display, grown by Imperial Plants, will also feature an extended display of perennials.

“With more visitors from all around the world, we realize that the Flower Trials is an international opportunity to showcase our varieties. This year, we are putting more emphasis on making our presentation accessible for all markets,” adds Ori Danziger. “We already know that European markets differ in tastes and trends, but this year we will also enable visitors from the USA and the Far-East to get the best information, relevant for their needs.” Together with a marvelous display of plants, visitors will be able to easily login to a web-app that will guide them through the display, with highlighted info, both in English and in Chinese.
