Cut foliage specialist supplier Adomex announces senior management change

KUDELSTAART, Netherlands: Dutch-based cut foliage specialist supplier Adomex is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerard Wijma as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 April 2022. Wijma, who previously served as Adomex’ finance director, replaces Anton Klunder, who, after 12 years of service with the company, will step down from the CEO role to pursue other opportunities.

Sieto Hoogkamp will become director of operations, and Mark van der Ban will remain a commercial director.

Gerard Wijma says, “We want to thank Anton for all the great work he has done, which made Adomex a healthy and very successful company. The Adomex team will further strengthen the company’s leading position in the marketplace and increase partnerships with suppliers.”

Gerard Wijma joined Adomex in May 2021 and brings many years of experience in the flower industry. Wijma previously served as general manager of Broekhof/Koninklijke Paardekoper Group’s   horticultural division.

Sieto Hoogkamp began working for Adomex in 2007, the last 11 years as operations manager. Mark van der Ban has been with Adomex for 22 years, of which the last 11 years as commercial director.
