Cerdys to launch logistic platform in 2020

BOUSSAY, France: As always attentive to its customers’ expectations, Cerdys, a leading wholesale supplier of outdoor plants to garden centres across France, is launching a new logistic platform for a more swift and efficient order processing.

This new service aims at making Cerdys’ catalogue more accessible, by offering the entirety of its range from one place, simplifying the flow, from the placement of the order to the delivery at the point of sale.

This platform, located in Angers near major highways, will be operational by the end of this year.

This year’s first quarter will be dedicated to finalising the general organisation of this new plan. Customers and partners will be given more details next June.

This new step is the logical result of the 2015 merger bringing together all six production sites (Angers, Nantes, Niort, Bordeaux and two in Orleans) into one new entity. It shows the company’s ability to adapt to the market’s needs and its drive to move forward with ambitious projects in the challenging environment that is the horticultural sector.

Last year, Cerdys reported sales of 7 million plants and a €19 million turnover.
