Bookings are flying in for the 2023 International Garden Centre Association (IGCA) congress in Italy

Bookings are looking healthy for the 2023 IGCA congress happening in Baveno, Italy, on the west side of Lake Maggiore between 21 August – 24 September 2023.

IGCA’s Annual Congress is the ideal networking platform where garden centres can connect and exchange ideas, information and resources with like-minded members anywhere in the world.

The 2023 IGCA congress will include company tours to Italian garden centres, including destination garden centres such as Steflor, Viridea, Peraga, Agricola Home and Garden, CIP Garden, Bedetti, and Flover. This eclectic mix of companies assures everyone can find ideas and tips which can be applied once back home.

Apart from the garden centres tours, IGCA will travel to some outstanding gardens and research institutes. On Wednesday 27 September, the tour will take participants to Isola Madre and Isola Bella. The next day, Thursday 28 September, evening dinner will be served in Villa Erba, home to Italy’s most prestigious gardening show Orticolario.

Apart from this, there will be multiple cultural visits in and around Milan and Turin. The conference pre tour includes a visit to Sicily’s iconic plant nurseries.

Co-hosting the event is Italy’s national garden centre association, the Associazione Italiana Centri Giardinaggio (AICG).
