Dutch ornamental plant breeder and propagator Beekenkamp Plants will launch its latest breeding breakthrough: the LaBella Dahlia Grande Chocolate. This new series is the perfect addition to the current LaBella Dahlia assortment and a real must-see for those who strive for innovation.
The deep, dark leaves of the LaBella Dahlia remind you of chocolate. Last summer, the plants were extensively tested in Beekenkamp Plants’ Trial Garden, where they gave proof of excellent garden performance.
The series includes four cultivars featuring double, two-toned flowers and bold colours.
Beekenkamp Plants will also promote its Verbena Fuerte series, known for its strong plants with vibrant colours and a long flowering period. The latest novelties perfectly complement the existing varieties and offer the same excellent performance.
Naturally, Beekenkamp will also exhibit the Pericallis POP!-series.
Pericallis POP stands for cutting-raised Pericallis, which debuted at last year’s IPM show in Essen. It is well-branched, features quality foliage, and is suited for growing at lower temperatures.
POP has a lush and full appearance owing to better branching. The combination of boldly coloured blooms that rise above sturdy foliage helps to make the plant visually appealing at retail. The new series features uniform growth across the seven different POP varieties.
