Ornamental plant breeding and propagation companies Beekenkamp Group and Dümmen Orange will investigate ways to collaborate more closely in the realm of marketing and sales, R&D, and producton.
An Beekenkamp and Anthony Christaanse, the respective CEOs of Beekenkamp Group and Dümmen Orange, have issued a joint letter outlining plans to collaborate more closely.
Beekenkamp Group is a renowned Dutch family-owned company active in plants (vegetables and ornamentals), packaging, R&D for ornamentals and Chrysanthemums (Deliflor). Dümmen Orange is a breeder of cut flowers, pot and bedding plants, and callas. Both companies are no stranger to one and another as they already team up in the rooting of Chrysanthemums.
The potential deepening of this collaboration is driven by a shared ambition to achieve economies of scale and the belief that further cooperation and the sharing of expertise are essential for long-term success.
