Each year, Italy’s National Association of Nursery Stock Exporters (ANVE) invests money into graduate students and the research they are pursuing. The annual Stefano Capitanio Graduating Awards, in remembrance of ANVE’s late co-founder Stefano Capitanio, are intended to recognise and reward top-achieving horticultural students and encourage the to continue their study.
To be considered for the scholarship applicants must have taken their bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in the academic year 2020/2021. Applications close on 7 May 2022.
Applicants will be notified on 28 May on the occasion of the XIV National Day of the Mediterranean Nursery Stock Industry, to be held in Monopoli, Puglia.
Applicants will be assesed by a panel of expert judges representing a cross-section of the industry.
