The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) has approved HortEx 2026 as an International Horticultural Trade Exhibition, reinforcing Southeast Asia’s growing prominence on the global horticultural map.

The Bangkok-based show will run from 20–22 May 2026, occupying 14,000 m² of exhibition space at BITEC and operating alongside AGRITECHNICA ASIA. With up to 15,000 expected visitors, the exhibition will offer a diverse showcase of horticultural technology, equipment, and plant material tailored to the needs of the ASEAN region.

Delegates hold a business meeting surrounded by floral displays at HortEx, discussing trade opportunities.

HortEx fosters international business exchange, with meetings linking growers, distributors, and technology providers in a vibrant floral setting.

AIPH Secretary General Tim Briercliffe noted the event’s strategic value: “The approval of HortEx continues AIPH’s support for horticultural innovation and commercial opportunity across Asia. It’s a timely initiative that complements existing shows and helps build sustainable industry connections.”

Kuno Jacobs, Managing Director of Nova Exhibitions, commented: “We see growing demand across Asia for innovative horticultural solutions and stronger international collaboration. HortEx 2026 responds to this need by bringing together a wide spectrum of exhibitors from leading global technology providers to regional suppliers who address the specific needs of the Asian market. Held in Bangkok, an accessible and well-connected hub for the region, and co-located with AGRITECHNICA ASIA, the event benefits from strong synergy and extended reach. We believe the 2026 edition will set a new benchmark for growth and engagement across the industry.”
