AIPH Approval Strengthens HortEx Vietnam 2025 As An International Horticultural Platform
The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) has officially approved HortEx Vietnam 2025, affirming its position as a leading international horticultural trade show. The event will take place from 12 to 14 March 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This is the 7th edition of HortEx Vietnam, and it is rapidly evolving into a cornerstone event in the global horticultural calendar, showcasing Vietnam’s burgeoning role as a hub for horticultural innovation and trade. Building on its 2024 success—which attracted over 200 exhibitors from 25 countries and more than 7,000 trade visitors from 30 nations—HortEx 2025 is expected to welcome 15,000 visitors and feature 400 exhibitors across 4,500 square metres of exhibition space.
Vietnam: a thriving horticultural hub
Vietnam’s horticulture and floriculture sectors continue to thrive, with fruit and vegetable exports projected to exceed USD 7.2 billion in 2024, marking significant progress toward a USD 10 billion export target. The floriculture market is also flourishing, with projections valuing it at USD 3.426 billion by 2032. Key production regions, including Lam Dong Province (Dalat), Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi, play pivotal roles in this growth.
According to the AIPH International Statistics Flowers and Plants 2024, Vietnam’s flower and ornamental plant cultivation spans 35,000 hectares, producing major crops such as chrysanthemums, roses, gladioli, and carnations. This extensive production area underscores the country’s capacity to meet both domestic and international demand.

AIPH’s approval reinforces HortEx’s credibility as an international platform, adhering to the highest standards of sustainability, innovation, and collaboration. AIPH President Leonardo Capitanio remarked: “HortEx Vietnam exemplifies the innovation and collaboration that AIPH seeks to promote globally. This event is a vital platform for advancing sustainable horticulture and connecting the industry worldwide.”
Diverse activities and networking opportunities
HortEx Vietnam 2025 will feature extensive activities, including trade exhibitions, networking sessions, educational workshops, live demonstrations, and panel discussions such as “Grower Talks.” The event will also host an Export Forum, technical seminars, and dedicated display areas like the International Premium Flower Showcase and the Post-Harvest Technology & Solutions Zone. These event components will help to foster collaboration and provide practical insights for industry professionals.
