The educational opportunities are  developed for each and every aspect of today’s floral industry. Whether it is from the stage or in an intimate classroom setting, influential floral designers will present our craft in a whole new light.  This 2019 AIFD National Symposium is the place to be withfriends, to create networking opportunities and to be surrounded by common passions that drive us all to be better floral designers and business people.  You have to “Awaken” with us,” said 2019 symposium coordinators Joyce Mason-Monheim AIFD, CFD, PFCI and Brian Vetter AIFD, CFD, PFCI.

AIFD Symposium is also a time when aspiring designers, endeavouring to achieve AIFD’s Certified Floral Designer (CFD®) designation and ultimately an invitation to become an accredited member of AIFD, will participate in the AIFD Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE). The PFDE will take place on Thursday, July 4.

For the greatest value AIFD highly recommends the premium registration. This includes all programs, seminars (except for those indicated otherwise, such as the hands-on workshops) and all meal functions. However, there are other options designed to fit everyone’s budget and time restrictions. A general registration includes all general sessions, the opening reception and partners’ showcase. Attendees may opt for a single day registration and view only the programs and activities on the day(s) of their choice. The partners’ showcase only option is for  local florists who want to take a few hours to view the fabulous products being displayed during the partners’ showcase.

Helping to make the symposium spectacular are a team of AIFD Elite Partners who contribute significant products and financial support.
