ABU DHABI, UAE: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) aims to diversify its economy by reducing the focus on crude oil. The nation is committed to increasing urban green spaces through garden and reforestation projects. The country also wants to bolster its position as a global flower trade hub. With this in mind, the announcement of a brand new flower trade show WARD 2022 (flower in Arabic), does not come as a surprise.
Set to open its doors at Abu Dhabi’s multi-award winning convention centre ADNEC between 21-24 November 2022, the Gulf International Flowers and Gardens Exhibition (Ward 2022) promises to be a lush green oasis of cut flowers, plants, nursery stock products and everything in between whilst providing perfect networking opportunities for industry professionals.
According to the event organiser, Motion International WARD 2022 is the first of its kind in the niche flower market, including its farming, trading, growing, medical use, cosmetics, and nutritional use. Also, the exhibition’s goal is to open a new line of communications for companies that work in the flower and garden industry to enter the Gulf Cooperation Council’s markets in general and the United Arab Emirates. As well as to create an environment for investments in farming, horticulture, urban green space, and the preservation of the environment.
The trade show is an excellent opportunity to gain new customers, network with colleagues and introduce their own products and services. WARD will gather experts in flower and plant breeding and propagation, cultivation, logistics and plant disease prevention and treatment under one roof.
WARD has the ambition to become the major flower event in the Arabian peninsula.
