With a mandate agreed by international convention, AIPH, the International Association of Horticultural Producers has been approving and regulating International Horticultural Expos since 1960.
Organisers from forthcoming AIPH approved Expos presented their progress reports.
Millions are spent on developing these international spectacles that can have the ability to stimulate the development of entire cities and transform the international reputation of hosting regions. Each exhibition attracts many international participants and millions of visitors, lasts up to six months, with sites ranging from 25 to 500 hectares in size. Every Expo is carefully regulated, steered, and monitored by AIPH.
The period from 2021 until 2027 already includes AIPH approved expos in China, Turkey, Qatar, the Netherlands, South Korea, Thailand and Japan with more to be approved in upcoming meetings.

Daniel is the co-founder and current chairman of the Association of Global Event Suppliers (www.ages.international) which was found in 2014 to become a label of quality, safety and sustainability for the growing industry of global events suppliers. Together with the Board of AGES he developed the Association to become the acknowledged representative of the industry by international governmental bodies and organisers of large events. Together with partners and experts Daniel created a number of guides, standards and templates to explain the members capabilities and support their activities.
From 1990 to 2014 Daniel was executive director of the Swiss based Nüssli Group (www.nussli.com), a global supplier of temporary infrastructure solutions, Thanks to his entrepreneurial spirit and the development of new products and services he contributed significantly to the successful development of the Group. Before that he was Project and Production Manager for 6 years at VSL International (www.vsl.com) responsible for the planning and delivery of international projects.
Daniel is a graduated civil engineer with diploma in business management.
Combining his knowledge of technology and trends, he builds campaigns that aim for meaningful marketing and sustainable business models for a greater good.
His recent “NFA – Non-Fungible Animals campaign” for WWF Germany is worldwide the most successful NFT campaign by an NPO, raising over 300.000$ for endangered species. It was presented and honored numerous times from the Webby Awards to the Cannes Lions.
PERA Event is an international service agency for special events, M.I.C.E. entertainment and event counselling. Based in Istanbul, Turkey, the group offers solutions, support and services to participants in the development and implementation of International Horticultural Exhibitions.
AGES is a non-for-profit-making organisation based in Switzerland which has been formed to become the label for quality and reliability for temporary infrastructure works for major events.
The members are market leaders of the international event suppliers industry and front runners in the development of new products and services.
AGES wants to address the capabilities of the industry to governmental bodies, key stakeholders and organisers of large sports events and to develop together suitable standards and procedures to facilitate interaction and to obtain cost-effective infrastructure solutions for future events.
