Preparation for International Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu Enters its Pivotal Year

Last year, the city of Chengdu launched its official invitation to overseas cities, associations, enterprises, and higher education institutions to participate in the International Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu.

At the time, on 29 September, Covid restrictions were still in place. Still, the promotional video for Expo 2024 Chengdu was played for audiences at Expo 2022 Floriade during its National Pavilion Day of China.

The preparation for the Expo is through the National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China, China Flower Association, Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, and Chengdu Municipal People’s Government. The care and attention to detail the Expo organisers have put towards the preliminary masterplan has given tremendous momentum to the following stages of building.
