AIPH members are invited to the first World Floral Summit to be held in Aalsmeer, Netherlands on 7 November 2017.  This significant event, supported by Royal FloraHolland, has been developed by the key associations representing the global floral supply chain.  These include AIPH, Union Fleurs, Florint, CIOPORA and Fleuroselect.

For the first time these organisations are debating together the challenges and opportunities facing the industry and where we go next.  The summit includes a presentation from Professor J Rotmans from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.  Jan Rotmans is a socially engaged scientist, with more than 200 publications in the field of climate change & global change modelling, sustainable development, and transitions and system innovations.  He will bring fascinating insight for the floral sector.

After an astounding success in the launch year, Flower Logistics Africa is back again, with the support of the industry, geared up to charter into new opportunities and challenges in the domain.

Organised by Logistics Update Africa, a key Africa focused transport and logistics publication from STAT Media Group, the forum, in its second edition, continues its affiliation with the Kenya Flower Council.

In addition to the topics addressed in the previous edition, this edition aims to enhance collaborative actions between growers and the rest of the supply chain. Agro Greenhouse

The 1st International Investment Forum “Greenhouse Complexes Russia”, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia last year was a resounding success.
The event has established itself as an international professional platform for the dialogue, experience sharing, search for solutions, and effort consolidation of government and business to attract investment in the greenhouse industry.

XXX International Horticultural Congress (IHC2018) will be held in Istanbul, Turkey between 12 – 16 August 2018.

As Istanbul is the only city bridging two continents, Asia with Europe, in the world, the motto of IHC2018 is to be ‘Bridging the World through Horticulture’. It is heavily focused on research and innovation and will have training components related to various fields of Horticulture.

IHC2018 will provide an excellent platform for scientists, technicians, students, consultants, engineers, extension agents, growers, industry, trade and consumer organizations, policy makers and other professionals having an interest in horticulture.
