EARLY-BIRD TICKETS FOR IGOTY AWARDS 2019 NOW AVAILABLE

The 10th International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) IGOTY Awards event, which recognises the very best in the horticultural industry, is now open for ticket bookings, with early-bird discounts available until 30th November 2018.

The event is taking place on the evening of Tuesday 22nd January 2019, at the IPM Fairground in Essen, Germany and is held alongside the international trade fair. The IGOTY Awards are supported by Royal Flora Holland and sponsored by leading horticultural trade magazine FloraCulture International.

The evening will consist of a drinks reception, a gala dinner and the award ceremony, followed by celebrations, live musical entertainment and the opportunity for the international ornamental horticultural industry, including leaders, experts and innovators, to come together.

AIPH President Mr. Bernard Oosterom said “In January 2019, we will hold the tenth IGOTY Awards, to recognise best practice in our industry. We are proud to have created this event which is so important for promoting excellence and which is also a hugely enjoyable occasion. We look forward to IGOTY 2019 with great eagerness.”

The IGOTY Awards, which are well attended each year, invite everyone from the international ornamental horticultural industry. AIPH Secretary General Mr. Tim Briercliffe adds “Whether an AIPH member or non-member, a previous attendee or have never been before, you are guaranteed to enjoy the IGOTY awards. We encourage early booking to avoid disappointment and to take advantage of the discounted ticket price.”

The 2019 IGOTY Awards will be presented for five categories:Cut Flowers and Bulbs

Young Plants
Finished Plants and Trees
Sustainability Award
Inspiring Business Award

Entries are submitted from around the world and winners are selected by an internationally esteemed panel of judges. In January 2018, Ter Laak Orchids (Netherlands) won the crowning title “International Grower of the Year”. The 2019 winners of this coveted award, and of all categories, will be announced on the evening of the 22nd January 2019.

Early-bird discount tickets cost €205 per person (+vat) and €185 per person (+vat) for table bookings of ten people and must be booked before 30th November 2018. After this date, full price tickets cost €225 per person (+vat), and €205 per person (+vat) for table bookings of ten people.
